First look at the new RANS Alterra 29r frame set. Had this one done up in a Xstream charcoal instead of their standard orange crush.
After a motorcycling accident many years ago, I tried to get back on my Cannondale Killer-V but my body just wouldn't take it. After looking for alternative rides I discovered the recumbent format and started soaking up info from Bentrideronline.com This led to the purchase of a 03' Bacchetta Giro, still hankered for a long wheel base and brought home the RANS Stratus "for the wifey" a month later after clearing out the Can o'ale and her new and still unused GT mtb. I never thought I would be able to have a chance to ride off-road again, but thought this pavement thing was pretty cool and at least let me get out and break a sweat.

A customer requested a rear rack to be installed on his new Cruzike Silvio. I have seen them before on the Cruzbike forums but never tried to install one. It took a little fiddling with the rack stays but worked out fine. With a little practice I am sure I could master a graceful/purposeful bend of the rack stays. A expandable Summit tail pack was installed and when expanded it just about made the top of the bag look level with the ground. Now he can put a hydration bladder, or plenty of gear for a day trip etc. easily in the rear, for extend trips on his new mile muncher.
