11.02 - October was strangely the best month of this year, and I'd
like to say Thanks!!! Looking to lean up our current inventory
before the end of the year, so I wanted to offer free shipping in
the lower 48 states, or tax free for local customer pickup's. I'll be
doing a inventory count shortly and get photo's and pricing of
misc. parts, tires, wheels and other items and post them on the
Spiventory page. Also remember all bike purchases will be another
qualifying entry to any future Spin Raffles eh.

10.3 - Ordered up our first HammerTrucks, the new utility crank
forward offering that debuted at Interbike 2009. They should
start shipping in November, and if you would like to reserve one,
or a frame set just let us know. Also ordered a SRAM iMotion
internally geared hub and shifter system to try out. Let us know if
you would like to see this offering on more crank forward models.
Updating homepage for all the spec. junkies out there along with
the new 2009 models. Any feedback or suggestions during the
update is appreciated.
09.28 - Updated the Build Your Own page with 2009 model
pricing.
09.01 - Today was our 3 year anniversary, and I had my wife Nora
draw the winner for the $1k Spin Credit Raffle...#9. This
Spinsider bought the first bike I ever bought directly from Randy
Schlitter of RANS at the Interbike Demo day. A year later I
returned to Interbike, and decided to get into the bike business, so
that Force 5 brings back a lot of memories. Thanks to all our
customers that have made this a fun endeavour. Hopefully we'll
be able to hold another raffle in 2009. In the meantime, if you are
an existing Spinsider and unaware of your benefits, just drop me a
line and I'd be happy to give you the details.
08.19 - Discounted a few demo bikes to start making room for
09's in the 150sqft Spin Shed. Pumped up loads more old photo's
to Flickr.
07.28 - Added a Flickr photo page to reduce some of the content
overhead on the website, hopefully improving load times.
07.15 - Found a home for a D-Pro frameset with Tony Howe, an
amazing stainless steel kinetic sculpture artist. View his creations.
06.21 - Moving to today, not the business just our personal stuff,
and rearranging a portion of the Spin Shed into the garage of our
new home in Petaluma. Should be back up to speed back up to
speed by next weekend eh.
05.19 - Back from a quick trip to Disneyland, and nearly got the
Spin Van totalled in a 5+ car pile up while escaping LA.
Fortunately we maneuvered out of the path of the herd of SUV's
and large pickup's coming from the rear that stacked up along the
passengers side. Very happy to be home unscathed and catching
up on emails.
05.08 - Only a handful of Spinsiders left to contact for the raffle,
now by phone since they have not replied via email. Prepping
some touring CF's for a rider of OZ, and getting coworkers and
friends setup with our demo crank forwards for Bike to Work day
5/15
04.21 - Back from Monterey, and added the show bikes to the
inventory listing including one of the newly released F5 high racers.

uploaded some pix from the weekend ride, and demo customers
along with the first unveiling a custom Street Tour...red Sonia.
03.28 - Posted the Fusion Road pix, and Tihamers geared hub
700X.03.27 - Updated the About Us, Spinventory, and Mind Bank
pages. Added the bikes to the inventory list for the upcoming Sea
Otter mountain bike festive in beautiful Monterey, April 17-20.
03.17 - Completed Petra 3.0, updated Spinventory page. The Spin
Raffle will be held once I get caught up with taxes eh. Thanks for
your patience. I've ordered a Cruzbike Silvio frameset for
evaluation, which is schedule to arrive in late January. Check out
this video to get an idea why this bike has my attention. It's unlike
any in the RANS line-up, and may make a nice addition. I'll photo
document the build-up and have the Silvio available for demo's
hopefully by mid-Feb. Let me know what you think about this
bike, and if you may be interested in get some seat time on this
unique machine. Cruzbike Yahoo group.
03.05 - Added Silvio build pix, updated Schwalbe stock, and added
the Parts Bin for misc. parts, take-off items or lightly used widgets.
03.04 - Unpacked the Cruzbike Silvio and posted the photo's.

02.02 - Photo documented the build up of a custom Aqua "Street
Trail" with Shimano XT componentry, for the enjoyment for folks
stuck indoors. It was a fun process, and I hope you get something

01.24 - Returned from the Solidworks convention in San Diego,
and still catching up on a few emails. Got to see Dean Kamen and
this neat inventor as some of the KeyNotes. Bought a 3D mouse
also.

01.09 - Spinsiders $1k Raffle Update - I removed all the friends
and family Spinsiders from the raffle and added a - next to those
numbers. This takes the eligible number up to #112. If you are a
Spinsider and reading this anticipating the raffle, please email with
your number/s in the email Subject, expressing your desired to
participate, and I will red your number. Once we hit #112 I will
attempt to contact the remainder of the qualifying participants, see
how they are enjoying their RANS bike, ask for recent riding or
modification pictures of course :), and if they'd like to be entered.
The only rules I can think off are that tax, shipping etc. are borne
by the winner, or deducted from the total depending on what is
purchased. If you can think of other issues I should consider,

10.10 - Happy to be home, finally. Italy was a blast, and crewing
the 508 endurance race last weekend was most exciting. Pix of
both will be up in short order as time permits. I've got a couple
08' coming in, and will likely be getting more frame set as I like the
flexibility they offer.
09.12 - 33yo today :), and off to Italy tomorrow :D. While I am

09.01 - We are officially out of the SF East Bay and completely
moved to Petaluma. I've also taken a new job in Petaluma and will
only be available to meet with customer occassionally in the
evenings after 5pm, and on Saturdays. The new location is nice,
with much cooler weather, and I'll look at having a little open house
08.24 - Good Karma - Folks we are fast approaching our 100th
customer, and as I don't believe in spending $ on advertising, I'd
rather reward those that have made my part-time business possible.
So, I'll be contacting the Spinsiders listed on the lower right of our
home page in the next couple weeks as we approach #100. The

contacted and are available for the drawing. When we do hit #100,

05.18 - Got Yahoo Sitebuilder running again on my laptop, now
that our home computer is packed away for the move. It's really a
great website tool, and easy to use and play with even for the
novice webby. Uploaded some new homepage pix, and adjusted
inventories. The Spinventory page has been giving me some
picture issues, which is why several bikes are not displayed, but
should be complete again soon. Our current inventory will always

like to say Thanks!!! Looking to lean up our current inventory
before the end of the year, so I wanted to offer free shipping in
the lower 48 states, or tax free for local customer pickup's. I'll be
doing a inventory count shortly and get photo's and pricing of
misc. parts, tires, wheels and other items and post them on the
Spiventory page. Also remember all bike purchases will be another

10.3 - Ordered up our first HammerTrucks, the new utility crank
forward offering that debuted at Interbike 2009. They should
start shipping in November, and if you would like to reserve one,
or a frame set just let us know. Also ordered a SRAM iMotion
internally geared hub and shifter system to try out. Let us know if
you would like to see this offering on more crank forward models.
Updating homepage for all the spec. junkies out there along with
the new 2009 models. Any feedback or suggestions during the

09.01 - Today was our 3 year anniversary, and I had my wife Nora
draw the winner for the $1k Spin Credit Raffle...#9. This
Spinsider bought the first bike I ever bought directly from Randy
Schlitter of RANS at the Interbike Demo day. A year later I
returned to Interbike, and decided to get into the bike business, so
that Force 5 brings back a lot of memories. Thanks to all our
customers that have made this a fun endeavour. Hopefully we'll
be able to hold another raffle in 2009. In the meantime, if you are
an existing Spinsider and unaware of your benefits, just drop me a
line and I'd be happy to give you the details.
08.19 - Discounted a few demo bikes to start making room for
09's in the 150sqft Spin Shed. Pumped up loads more old photo's

07.28 - Added a Flickr photo page to reduce some of the content
overhead on the website, hopefully improving load times.
07.15 - Found a home for a D-Pro frameset with Tony Howe, an
amazing stainless steel kinetic sculpture artist. View his creations.
06.21 - Moving to today, not the business just our personal stuff,
and rearranging a portion of the Spin Shed into the garage of our
new home in Petaluma. Should be back up to speed back up to
speed by next weekend eh.
05.19 - Back from a quick trip to Disneyland, and nearly got the
Spin Van totalled in a 5+ car pile up while escaping LA.
Fortunately we maneuvered out of the path of the herd of SUV's
and large pickup's coming from the rear that stacked up along the
passengers side. Very happy to be home unscathed and catching
up on emails.

now by phone since they have not replied via email. Prepping
some touring CF's for a rider of OZ, and getting coworkers and

hopefully by mid-Feb. Let me know what you think about this

01.09 - Spinsiders $1k Raffle Update - I removed all the friends
and family Spinsiders from the raffle and added a - next to those
numbers. This takes the eligible number up to #112. If you are a

your number/s in the email Subject, expressing your desired to
participate, and I will red your number. Once we hit #112 I will
attempt to contact the remainder of the qualifying participants, see
how they are enjoying their RANS bike, ask for recent riding or
modification pictures of course :), and if they'd like to be entered.
The only rules I can think off are that tax, shipping etc. are borne
by the winner, or deducted from the total depending on what is
purchased. If you can think of other issues I should consider,

10.10 - Happy to be home, finally. Italy was a blast, and crewing
the 508 endurance race last weekend was most exciting. Pix of
both will be up in short order as time permits. I've got a couple
08' coming in, and will likely be getting more frame set as I like the
flexibility they offer.

09.01 - We are officially out of the SF East Bay and completely
moved to Petaluma. I've also taken a new job in Petaluma and will
only be available to meet with customer occassionally in the
evenings after 5pm, and on Saturdays. The new location is nice,

customer, and as I don't believe in spending $ on advertising, I'd
