04.07 - Uploaded pix of custom the new prototype bikes sent out for
marketing feedback for the Sea Otter Show, the Dynamik Sequoia
for taller riders, and the Fusion Step-Through 9spd. Also uploaded
some pix from the weekend ride, and demo customers along with
the first unveiling a custom Street Tour...red Sonia.
03.28 - Posted the Fusion Road pix, and Tihamers geared hub 700X.

Added the bikes to the inventory list for the upcoming Sea Otter
mountain bike festive in beautiful Monterey, April 17-20.
03.17 - Completed Petra 3.0, updated Spinventory page. The Spin
Raffle will be held once I get caught up with taxes eh. Thanks for
your patience. I've ordered a Cruzbike Silvio frameset for evaluation,
which is schedule to arrive in late January. Check out this video to
get an idea why this bike has my attention. It's unlike any in the
RANS line-up, and may make a nice addition. I'll photo document
the build-up and have the Silvio available for demo's hopefully by
mid-Feb. Let me know what you think about this bike, and if you may
be interested in get some seat time on this unique machine.

Trail" with Shimano XT componentry, for the enjoyment for folks
stuck indoors. It was a fun process, and I hope you get something

01.24 - Returned from the Solidworks convention in San Diego, and
still catching up on a few emails. Got to see Dean Kamen and this
neat inventor as some of the KeyNotes. Bought a 3D mouse also.

01.09 - Spinsiders $1k Raffle Update - I removed all the friends and
family Spinsiders from the raffle and added a - next to those
numbers. This takes the eligible number up to #112. If you are a
Spinsider and reading this anticipating the raffle, please email with
your number/s in the email Subject, expressing your desired to
participate, and I will red your number. Once we hit #112 I will
attempt to contact the remainder of the qualifying participants, see
how they are enjoying their RANS bike, ask for recent riding or
modification pictures of course :), and if they'd like to be entered.
The only rules I can think off are that tax, shipping etc. are borne by
the winner, or deducted from the total depending on what is
purchased. If you can think of other issues I should consider,

pictures side bar, from Milan, Varrena, Lake Como, Bellagio, and

10.10 - Happy to be home, finally. Italy was a blast, and crewing the
508 endurance race last weekend was most exciting. Pix of both
will be up in short order as time permits. I've got a couple 08'
coming in, and will likely be getting more frame set as I like the
flexibility they offer.
09.12 - 33yo today :), and off to Italy tomorrow :D. While I am away

09.01 - We are officially out of the SF East Bay and completely
moved to Petaluma. I've also taken a new job in Petaluma and will
only be available to meet with customer occassionally in the
evenings after 5pm, and on Saturdays. The new location is nice,
with much cooler weather, and I'll look at having a little open house
08.24 - Good Karma - Folks we are fast approaching our 100th
customer, and as I don't believe in spending $ on advertising, I'd
rather reward those that have made my part-time business
possible. So, I'll be contacting the Spinsiders listed on the lower
right of our home page in the next couple weeks as we approach
#100. The customer numbers will be changed to Red once you've
been contacted and are available for the drawing. When we do hit
#100, I'll hold a drawing for a $1000 Spin Credit perhaps at an open
house party at our new Petaluma location, hopefully with some 08'
stuff on hand. Even better, if you are the Spinsider that referred the

It's 10x15 with 30' ceilings, so looking for a creative way to go
vertical, maybe with a mezzanine level for storage. If you like a

05.18 - Got Yahoo Sitebuilder running again on my laptop, now that
our home computer is packed away for the move. It's really a great
website tool, and easy to use and play with even for the novice
webby. Uploaded some new homepage pix, and adjusted
inventories. The Spinventory page has been giving me some
picture issues, which is why several bikes are not displayed, but
should be complete again soon. Our current inventory will always
be displayed below on our home page. If you love fresh cherries or
other fruits, it is U-Pick season out here in Brentwood, click here
from more info.
05.05 - We are planning a move to the north bay by the end of the
summer, ourselves first, and Spin Cyclz will make the transition
steadily as time allows.
04.15 - Since the bulk of our business has been with crank forward
bikes, I've decided to refocus things and primarily specialize in crank
forwards, with maybe a 90-10 split between CF's and bents. So if
you see something in our recumbent line-up that interests you

Added the bikes to the inventory list for the upcoming Sea Otter
mountain bike festive in beautiful Monterey, April 17-20.
03.17 - Completed Petra 3.0, updated Spinventory page. The Spin
Raffle will be held once I get caught up with taxes eh. Thanks for
your patience. I've ordered a Cruzbike Silvio frameset for evaluation,
which is schedule to arrive in late January. Check out this video to
get an idea why this bike has my attention. It's unlike any in the
RANS line-up, and may make a nice addition. I'll photo document
the build-up and have the Silvio available for demo's hopefully by
mid-Feb. Let me know what you think about this bike, and if you may
be interested in get some seat time on this unique machine.

02.02 - Photo documented the build up of a custom Aqua "Street
Trail" with Shimano XT componentry, for the enjoyment for folks
stuck indoors. It was a fun process, and I hope you get something
from it.

01.24 - Returned from the Solidworks convention in San Diego, and
still catching up on a few emails. Got to see Dean Kamen and this
neat inventor as some of the KeyNotes. Bought a 3D mouse also.
01.17 - Added John's custom 2007 Fusion to Crank Fever 2.0.
01.09 - Spinsiders $1k Raffle Update - I removed all the friends and
family Spinsiders from the raffle and added a - next to those
numbers. This takes the eligible number up to #112. If you are a
Spinsider and reading this anticipating the raffle, please email with
your number/s in the email Subject, expressing your desired to
participate, and I will red your number. Once we hit #112 I will
attempt to contact the remainder of the qualifying participants, see
how they are enjoying their RANS bike, ask for recent riding or
modification pictures of course :), and if they'd like to be entered.
The only rules I can think off are that tax, shipping etc. are borne by
the winner, or deducted from the total depending on what is
purchased. If you can think of other issues I should consider,

11.01 - RANS has released new his and hers cycling jerseys. I am
getting a group order together, so if you'd like one let me know your

10.21 - Got the 08' Crank Forward page updated, and the 08' Bents
will be next. Started posting some trip photo's from Italy on the left
pictures side bar, from Milan, Varrena, Lake Como, Bellagio, and
Menaggio. More will come each week eh.
10.10 - Happy to be home, finally. Italy was a blast, and crewing the
508 endurance race last weekend was most exciting. Pix of both
will be up in short order as time permits. I've got a couple 08'
coming in, and will likely be getting more frame set as I like the
flexibility they offer.
09.12 - 33yo today :), and off to Italy tomorrow :D. While I am away
you may email Herman Walder or Pierre Gerards, two close friends
and knowledgable CF and bent riders if you have any questions.

09.01 - We are officially out of the SF East Bay and completely
moved to Petaluma. I've also taken a new job in Petaluma and will
only be available to meet with customer occassionally in the
evenings after 5pm, and on Saturdays. The new location is nice,
with much cooler weather, and I'll look at having a little open house
08.24 - Good Karma - Folks we are fast approaching our 100th
customer, and as I don't believe in spending $ on advertising, I'd
rather reward those that have made my part-time business
possible. So, I'll be contacting the Spinsiders listed on the lower
right of our home page in the next couple weeks as we approach
#100. The customer numbers will be changed to Red once you've
been contacted and are available for the drawing. When we do hit
#100, I'll hold a drawing for a $1000 Spin Credit perhaps at an open
house party at our new Petaluma location, hopefully with some 08'
stuff on hand. Even better, if you are the Spinsider that referred the

Zenetik Tour frame set build up I don't have a name for yet.
07.10 - Secured a space at Petaluma Self Storage in the North Bay.
It's 10x15 with 30' ceilings, so looking for a creative way to go
vertical, maybe with a mezzanine level for storage. If you like a

06.29 - Uploaded San Jose Velodrome pics after last weekends

06.10 - After many customer requests we are now officially a

Getting settled in San Rafael as we migrate to the North Bay. I'll still
be hosting demo customers in Brentwood primarily on Saturdays
which works best with the new commute to San Jose.

05.18 - Got Yahoo Sitebuilder running again on my laptop, now that
our home computer is packed away for the move. It's really a great
website tool, and easy to use and play with even for the novice
webby. Uploaded some new homepage pix, and adjusted
inventories. The Spinventory page has been giving me some
picture issues, which is why several bikes are not displayed, but
should be complete again soon. Our current inventory will always
be displayed below on our home page. If you love fresh cherries or
other fruits, it is U-Pick season out here in Brentwood, click here

05.05 - We are planning a move to the north bay by the end of the
summer, ourselves first, and Spin Cyclz will make the transition
steadily as time allows.
04.15 - Since the bulk of our business has been with crank forward
bikes, I've decided to refocus things and primarily specialize in crank
forwards, with maybe a 90-10 split between CF's and bents. So if
you see something in our recumbent line-up that interests you
contact us and ask about our Spin accessory bonus package.
